The Challenge
Brooklands Go Karts came to us looking to improve their current branding and website. They wanted the brand and website to reflect the true nature of the business of having fun, team work and learning new skills. They required the site to effectively outline their services and promote them in a fun way. They also wanted to be able to easily update content themselves and have a blog integrated to keep people up to date with what is going on down at the track.
The Solution
Firstly we designed the new logo, we created and introduced a chequered flag and designed a new typeface with a metal shimmer effect.
We decided to build the website using WordPress CMS. This would provide an excellent CMS platform, blog functionality and flexibility for coding and customising layouts and introducing graphic / Photoshop elements.
We then continued the design style from the logo and introduced a grunge / spatter affect to the page layouts and imagery, with fun colourful bold typography, all positioned in a random fun way. Most of the creative graphical elements using Photoshop and illustrator.
